A major component of Daraja's work is to conduct research on issues relating to local government in Tanzania. This is partly to inform our own work, but also to alert policy-makers and those working on development projects to key areas of concern.
Daraja has been conducting research on local governance in Tanzania since 2006. Details of completed research is available here. We have also a number of forthcoming studies.
